Lead Generation/Sales Assistant

The successful candidate will spend 50% of their time telemarketing to generate leads and 50% of their time supporting the Sales team. As a Telemarketer you are responsible for generating a high volume of quality sales leads for the Cetaris Sales team.  You will maintain an organized and high-activity based schedule and will aim to exceed both their individual and team-driven goals. As the Sales Team Assistant you will be responsible for coordinating proposal submissions, planning meetings, tracking sales progress, troubleshooting minor customer problems, maintaining sales department database records and serving as a liaison between traveling sales representatives and staff based in the home office.

Roles And Responsibilities:

Initiate 40-50 outbound calls per day to generate, qualify and develop high quality leads and schedule appointments for Cetaris sales reps within specific geographic and vertical markets in North America. In conjunction with Cetaris’ Sales and Marketing team, analyze, identify, prioritize and plan pursuit of significant market opportunities

- Maintain all relevant client information in a CRM or company approved database system
- Send information to clients as per the defined appointment Process
- Assist the Cetaris sales team in their endeavours to create revenues, including  coordinating proposal submissions, planning meetings, tracking sales progress, troubleshooting minor customer problems, maintaining sales department database records and serving as a liaison between traveling sales representatives
- Working hours for this position will be 8 hours per day Monday - Friday with final schedule to be determined

Compensation:

- Salary
- Commensurate with experience
- Commissions
- Commissions earned based on meeting lead generation targets

Qualifications And Experience:

The successful candidate will possess:

- Previous business to business lead generation experience
- Excellent telephone demeanour
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Outbound and cold calling experience
- Efficient and accurate data entry skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), using the
- Internet and a CRM system
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
