Cetaris and Pacific-Western Transportation are pleased to announce that they will be co-hosting the next Cetaris Core User Conference at the Blackfoot Inn in Calgary, Alberta, from Thursday, April 14 through Saturday April 16, 2011. We hope that many core users will be able to join us and other Fleet and Fixed Asset Assistant users for this exciting event.
As part of the program, we are delighted to be able to take participants on a site visit to another exemplary Fleet Assistant implementation:
Pacific Western Transportation (PWT) is based in Calgary, Alberta and is one of Canada’s largest private transportation companies with a fleet of 2,000 school buses, luxury coaches and chartered buses. PWT holds the safety of its riders at the very top of its priority list and therefore must employ a highly effective asset management system to ensure the dependability of its vehicles. PWT needed a more accurate and efficient way of tracking repairs and keeping up with industry safety compliance measures. PWT chose Cetaris through the Microsoft Certified Partner program and the Fleet Assistant program for Windows XP was implemented. This program has allowed PWT to improve vehicle specifications to obtain lower lifecycle costs, improve time management, end their messy paperwork trails, track spending, and plan for future asset investments.
On the Program
In keeping with previous conferences, this year's program promises to provide a wonderful opportunity for core users of our asset management system to meet with each other and discuss their experiences with the product. Cetaris is looking forward to learning more about how core users are using Fleet and Fixed Asset Assistant and what features and functions core users would like to see prioritized in future releases.
Our goal with this year's conference is to explore the theme of ‘Return on Investment’ in asset management operations as well as to continue our efforts to align Cetaris' product development with its core users' business objectives.
