New Features in Cetaris Fleet 7.0

The upcoming release of Cetaris Fleet and Cetaris Fixed Asset Version 7.0 introduce several new features: Parts Pick List, Parts Where Used (Standard Jobs), Geo Fence, Parts Relief, and Notifications. This release will also contain a variety of new features, added reports, and QBEs, as well as issue resolutions that improve functionality and system performance.

Parts Pick List

The Pick List is designed for the technician. It allows users on the shop floor to select Parts they need for a repair from a “shopping basket”-style Pick List. Technicians can describe and take photos of Parts, then submit their request to the Parts Room to be processed and corrected as needed.

Parts Where Used (Standard Jobs)

With this new feature, each time a Work Order repair line containing a Standard Job is completed, a nightly job summarizes the Parts for the Standard Job. Then, the next time a Work Order is created, the system looks at the Parts history for this Standard Job and recommends the parts on the Work Order.

Geo Fence

Geo Fence allows you to locate where a particular asset resides in your “yard” – a space you predefine using latitudinal and longitudinal coordinates. This feature can be used several ways: to locate an asset in your yard, to determine the closest repair facility to a breakdown, and more.

Parts Relief

On a Work Order, Parts are now relieved the instant they are entered onto the Repair Line and the record is saved. This feature improves the accuracy of inventory counts in the Cetaris application.

Notifications

With the introduction of pop up notifications, important updates and alerts from your Cetaris system can now reach you from different screens in the application. This is the first stage of an evolution which will move pop-up messaging to the heart of the application, and will foster improved alignment across your team.

Reporting

The options for reporting continued to evolve to support your business. There are four reporting options:

  • Standard Reports based on SQL Server Reporting Services (100+ reports built into the application)
  • Standard Dashboards (a collection of Alerts and KPIs)
  • Custom Dashboards (cross-platform browser access to standard alerts, KPIs, and custom extracts)
  • Advanced Reporting (OLAP cube based self-service reporting in Excel)

System Integration Modules (SIMs)

SIMs improve the accuracy, detail, and timeliness of your data, the foundation for managing by metrics. The most popular SIMs are:

  • Meter
  • DVCR/Other Work Needed
  • Part
  • Outside Purchase Order
  • Equipment
  • PM Due
  • In/Out Service
  • Operational Dispatch Info
  • Fuel
  • Accounting

Key advances with SIMs are being made in the area of integrating Cetaris Fleet and Cetaris Fixed Asset with purchasing and invoicing with suppliers to improve timeliness and accuracy of data across the board.

Support

If you are reporting an issue or have a question anywhere with the Cetaris application, always use the F12 function. This is the best way to get the fastest possible resolution from Cetaris Support Services to your concerns and queries. The F12 function captures onscreen details and backend information that the Support team needs to optimize turnaround time. Contact Cetaris Support for more information.
